MOOC
The International Institute of Plant Engineering and Design has created a MOOC (Massive, Open Online Course) to explain the basics of Plant Engineering and Design.
The course is made up of several 20-minute videos and touches on the most common topics, such as process, plant layout, equipment, safety & environment, materials, civil, instrumentation, piping and electrical engineering.

- Course format: videos and multiple-choice test (see sample video beneath)
- Number of modules: 10
- Course duration: 5 weeks
About the course instructor: 20 years experience in Project Management in Oil & Gas industry as Project, Engineering and Contract Manager. Projects: EPC, Onshore & Offshore, Grassroot & Revamping, from USD50mln to USD4bln
