In some applications (special services, lethal, cyclic) is recommended to minimize the amount of welds on the pressure vessel, in this sense, the less amount of welded joints the less chance of weld failure. If on top special/lethal services the vessel must be defined for high pressure, it is necessary to design the vessel with safety in mind. In this workshop you will get familiar with this type of nozzles, whilst at the same time you will design and calculate self-reinforced nozzle for a real pressure vessel
