Ferreira, Germán
Holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering by University of Carabobo – Venezuela, M.Sc. in Eco-efficiency, Saving Energy and Industrial Ecology by University of Zaragoza – Spain. He also holds a European Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Zaragoza – Spain in Engineering (2010) that includes a research stay at University of Cambridge – England (2007). During the last 10 years, he has carried out his professional activities in different important International Companies, Centres and Universities (PDVSA / Venezuela, University of Carabobo / Venezuela, CSIC-University of Zaragoza / Spain, University of Cambridge / England, CIRCE – University of Zaragoza / Spain, FEUP-University of Porto / Portugal) working as process, piping, research or project engineer. CIRCE is the Research Centre for Energy Resources and Consumption. He has developed several industrial processes (food and drink, textile, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas and non-metallic mineral products sectors.) and participated and leaded several International R&D projects. At the same time, he has taught students from at least 10 different countries and has got the rich teaching experience of more than 1500 hours taught in BSc, MSc and specialization courses. He is author and/or co-author of several peer-review papers and book chapters published in several International Scientific Journals, International Conferences and Books.
