Ivan Fernandez has a BSc in Industrial Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Design. He has more than 10 years of work experience, most of it dedicated to engineering projects for the Gas & Oil industry, Mining Industry and Energy Generation. He has occupied positions in construction and engineering firms as Piping Engineer, Engineering Design Coordinator, Piping construction coordinator, Site Manager, Operations Manager. He also worked as independent consultant for engineering projects for Gas & Oil companies such as BG, REPSOL, YPFB and others. Currently works as project engineer at the Refinery of Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia, owned and operated by a subsidiary of the Bolivian national Oil & Gas Company (YPFB Refinación S.A.).
