Large complex projects entail a high number of highly inter-related activities. One must be able to stand back, identify the priorities and attend to them. Even though each project has unique features there are repeating patterns. The critical path and show stoppers are always the same, in particular Information from Equipment vendors and Piping. What must be practically done by Engineering to prevent these show stoppers will be explained
