The course focuses on turbomachinery design, operation, and maintenance, offering in-depth study of pumps, compressors, and turbines. It includes practical applications, performance analysis, reliability studies, and lifecycle cost assessments, structured in twenty modules plus a master project.
This postgraduate course focuses on advanced topics in rotating machinery. It spans one year and covers 20 modules including the principles of turbomachinery, various compressor applications, electric motors, gas turbines, and rotating equipment maintenance, leading to a final master project. Students learn to select, design, and maintain industrial machinery, gaining specific skills in thermodynamics, vibration analysis, fatigue and stress analysis, and more. The course concludes with an individual oral defense of the master’s thesis.
